Not being too enthusiastic supports the credibility of a post. But what if exactly this enthusiasm is appropriate? A few years ago, Mr. Maucher took over a WordPress / WooCommerce store that had gotten out of hand as a WordPress freelancer. The challenge at the time was to dynamically generate articles with several hundred variants and treat them in the same way as the store system provided by Woo. Since Mr. Maucher took over Gartenfrosch, there are now only solvable challenges instead of problems. A liberating feeling! Mr. Maucher communicates clearly and well-founded, keeps his promises and gives reliable assessments. That's why I stopped asking Mr. Maucher for quotes. Why? Because I wouldn't hire any other WordPress agency anyway.

Mr. Maucher designed and programmed a new website for us. From the first contact to the offer, the process and the completion, everything was great. Change requests were accepted and implemented very quickly. Mr. Maucher also brought in his own ideas, so that together we got a very good result. Since we are very satisfied, Mr. Maucher is still working for us and we can absolutely recommend him.

I have worked with several web programmers, David Maucher is one of the best. He took on a relatively difficult project and quickly familiarized himself with it and implemented the project excellently, the process was very uncomplicated for us. The backend for the editorial team is excellently structured and easy to understand, and David Maucher was and is always available to answer questions and extremely helpful. I can only recommend him. The distance between Switzerland and Germany was also never a problem. Gladly again!

WordPress help and support
Many website operators are looking for help with WordPress. Although the world's most popular CMS is free, support for WordPress is very poor. If you post a help request in the support forums, it can sometimes take days to receive a suitable answer. We help website operators (and those who want to become one) with all technical problems relating to the topic Hosting, WordPress Web Design, configuration and troubleshooting.
How can I contact WordPress?
As an open source platform, WordPress does not offer direct customer support for individual users. However, if you need help or support, there are various ways in which you can receive support for your website:
Official documentation and forums:
The official WordPress documentation is an excellent resource for answering basic questions.
The WordPress support forum is a community-based platform where you can ask questions and get help.
WordPress support via social media:
On platforms such as Twitter or Facebook, you may find help from other users or even members of the WordPress team.
Plugins and theme support:
If your problem is related to a specific plugin or theme, you should contact the support of the respective developer directly.
WordPress events and meetups:
Attending local WordPress meetups or conferences can be a great way to meet other users and experts in person and get help.
Help from hosting providers:
If you have your WordPress hosting through a specific provider, you can also contact the hosting company's support team for help with specific hosting issues.
Email support for WordPress.com users:
If you use WordPress.com for your blog or website, you can contact email support via the Contact form on the WordPress.com website.
It's important to note that there is no official WordPress hotline or direct individual support, as WordPress is developed and supported by a community of volunteers. If you have a specific technical issue, it is advisable to provide as much detail as possible when searching for help on forums or other support channels to increase the likelihood of a helpful response.
Why is nobody helping me in the support forum?
There are several possible reasons why you may not be getting help on the support forum website. Here are some possible explanations:
Specificity of the question:
Make sure your question is clear and specific. General questions may be less likely to be answered as they are often too broad.
Questions already asked:
Check that your question has not already been asked and answered. Sometimes there are already threads with similar problems and it might be useful to read through them.
Forum rules and guidelines:
Make sure your question conforms to the rules. Sometimes there are strict guidelines on how questions should be asked and non-compliant posts could potentially be overlooked.
Topicality of the subject:
Sometimes older themes can be overlooked. If your issue is specific to a newer version of WordPress or a plugin, make sure you make this clear in your question.
Clear description of the problem:
The more clearly and precisely you describe your problem, the easier it is for other users to help you. Provide as many relevant details as possible, including error messages, steps to reproduce and software versions used.
Active community:
The activity of a forum can vary greatly. It is possible that you have posted at a time when the community is less active. Try posting at different times.
Patience:
These platforms are supported by volunteers and it may take some time before someone responds to your question. Be patient and check your topic regularly for answers.
If help is still not available, you can alternatively consider other channels such as social media or professional services. Note, however, that paid services can usually provide faster and more direct website support.
How do I find someone to help me with WordPress problems?
There are several ways to get support for WordPress issues if you find that online communities aren't cutting it. Here are some options:
Freelancer platforms:
Platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer or Fiverr enable you to find freelance developers or Freelancer for WordPress to find. You can post your requirements and receive quotes from professionals.
WordPress developer agencies:
There are WordPress agenciesthat specialize in WordPress development and support. You can search for such agencies that offer services for your specific problem. Many of these providers even offer a satisfaction guarantee.
Local WordPress meetups and events:
Local WordPress meetups and conferences can be a great opportunity to meet developers based in your area. There are often networking opportunities at such events.
Social media:
Platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook can be used to search for WordPress experts. In many cases, developers and agencies are active on social media and can be contacted directly.
WordPress community groups:
There are special groups and forums that focus on collaboration between WordPress experts and users. Here you can search for support or ask questions directly.
WordPress expert directories:
There are directories of WordPress experts where you can search for professional service providers. These directories may be available online.
Local IT service providers:
IT service providers in your area may also offer WordPress support. Look for local service providers who have experience with WordPress.
Hosting company:
Some hosting companies offer special WordPress support. Check whether your hosting provider offers such services.
When choosing a service provider, it's important to look at their experience, references and reviews. Make sure they have the specific skills required for your problem and clarify the cost and scope of support in advance.
Is there a WordPress support chat?
WordPress itself does not offer direct live chat support for individual users. Official WordPress support is based on community forums and documentation. However, there are various platforms and service providers that can offer WordPress support via chat or ticket systems.
Here are some possibilities:
Hosting company:
If you host your WordPress with a particular hosting company, they may offer live chat support. Most major hosting providers have support teams that can help you with WordPress-specific questions.
WordPress support services:
There are companies and service providers that specialize in WordPress support and use chat or ticket systems to interact with customers. These service providers often offer professional help for a fee - including mine WordPress agency in Zurich and my WordPress agency in Basel.
WordPress experts on freelancer platforms:
On platforms such as Upwork or Freelancer, you can search for WordPress experts who offer chat communication for collaboration.
Premium plugin or theme support:
If you have problems with a particular premium plugin or theme, the provider's support may be able to use chat support or a ticket system.
If you are looking for real-time support, you should focus on the services of hosting companies and specialized WordPress support service providers. However, it is important to note that such services often come at a cost, especially when it comes to specialized or comprehensive support.
I have a problem with a plugin. Who can I contact?
If you are having problems with a WordPress plugin, there are several steps you can take to get support:
Documentation of the plugin:
Check the official documentation for the plugin in question. The documentation often contains detailed information, instructions and solutions to common problems.
Contact plugin developer:
On the WordPress.org website, you will usually find the plugin developer's contact information. This could be an email address or a contact form. You can contact the developer directly and describe your problem.
WordPress community forums:
Apart from the plugin's specific forums, you could also post your problem in general WordPress community forums such as the WordPress support forum. The community is often helpful.
Social media:
Some developers are also active on social media. You could try to contact the developer via platforms such as Twitter or Facebook.
Check plugin updates:
Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin. Sometimes problems are caused by outdated versions, and an update as part of a WordPress maintenance contract could possibly solve the problem.
Professional services:
If your issue is complex and needs to be resolved urgently, you could also consider hiring professional WordPress support services or developers for help.
When contacting the plugin developer, it is helpful to describe clearly and precisely what problems you are experiencing. Provide information such as the WordPress version, the plugin version and a detailed description of the problem. The more relevant information you provide, the more likely you are to receive fast and accurate help. This has also helped with d
